Mathematics, Modelling and Simulation of Complex Systems (TRA Modelling)
The creation of models is at the heart of many quantitative sciences. While previous scientific ages have focused on the understanding of individual parts of nature, it is one of the biggest challenges of our time to understand how these parts interact. This yields an understanding of how the increasingly complex systems around us actually work. Our striving to combine these now profound individual understandings drives numerous fields of science and technology.
